Our selective school preparation courses

Our courses run from Year 5 to 9, offering students tutoring and material that compliments and builds upon their standard school curriculum. By the time they sit for their exams, they’ll have the knowledge, discipline and confidence they need to succeed.

Bootcamp Junior

Duration: Terms 3 & 4 of Year 5
Purpose: Preparation for SEAL, Scholarship, and HAP entry exams scheduled for Year 6
School Intake: Term 1, Year 7
  • Offered in Year 5 (age 11)
  • Conducted during terms 3 and 4
  • Tailored for students preparing for the Year 6 SEAL and scholarship exams
  • Builds exam readiness and self-confidence in students.

Pre-foundations

Duration: Terms 1 & 2 (transitioning to Foundations afterward)
Purpose: Preparation for the Selective Entry Exam in Year 8 (Term 2)
School Intake: Year 9
  • Offered in Year 6 (age 12)
  • Conducted during terms 1 and 2
  • Ideal for students aiming to gain an early advantage by grasping selective entry concepts
  • Builds problem-solving abilities and introduces students to advanced maths and English

Bootcamp junior

Duration: Term 3 (Year 6)
Purpose: Preparation for SEAL and Scholarship exams in Terms 3 or 4
School Intake: Year 7

Foundations early start

Duration: Term 3 (Year 6) through Term 4 (Year 7), spanning 18 months
Purpose: Preparation for Selective Entry in Year 8 (Term 2)
School Intake: Year 9
  • Offered in Year 6 (age 12)
  • Conducted during term 3 and spans 18 months
  • Ideal for students looking to stay ahead of the curriculum and explore advanced concepts
  • Covers foundational content, prioritising core skill development and reducing Year 8 pressure by 30%

Foundations

Duration: Term 1 to Term 4, Year 7 (12 Months - Transition to Bootcamp Year 8)
Purpose: Preparation for Selective Entry in Year 8 (Term 2)
School Intake: Year 9
  • Offered in Year 7 (age 13)
